Credit Agricole's net income falls 4% to €1.35B in Q3

Credit Agricole SA said on Wednesday its stated net income for the third quarter of 2022 stood at €1.35 billion, marking a 4% decrease from the same period a year ago. Underlying net income was down 10% to €1.3 billion.

Revenues climbed 1% to reach €5.6 billion and the cost/income ratio stood at 61.2%. Meanwhile, Credit Agricole Group's revenue declined 0.5% to €8.9 billion and net income slid 10% to €2 billion.

"Our strong commercial momentum bolsters our high levels of profitability, solidity and operational efficiency, among the best in Europe. Key assets that allow us to roll out our MTP and amplify our support to customers and society," CEO Philippe Barassac stated.
