Twitter Inc. is preparing strategies to draw back advertisers to post its promotional material on the platform during the Super Bowl weekend, which the company considers the most important period of the year when it comes to marketing, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Friday.

According to the emails Twitter sent companies and the outlet subsequently saw, Elon Musk's firm began offering a package worth $250,000, titled "fire sale," which allows them to show their material ahead of the National Football League's (NFL) highlight videos.

The report comes after a series of businesses, such as the General Motors Company (GM), Pfizer Inc., Volkswagen AG, and United Airlines Inc., withdrew their advertisement from Twitter, citing concerns about new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Musk's content moderation policy.
