Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk praised the decision by a jury in the United States in a trial in which he was accused of committing securities fraud. The class-action lawsuit relates to the 2018 incident in which Musk claimed he secured backing to take Tesla private for $420 per share.

"Thank goodness, the wisdom of the people has prevailed! I am deeply appreciative of the jury’s unanimous finding of innocence in the Tesla 420 take-private case," Musk tweeted.
