Alaska, Florida, Montana, Nevada, and Puerto Rico joined a lawsuit led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton against Google on Tuesday.

The antitrust lawsuit targets Google's use of the Chrome browser and several privacy updates that states claim are being used by the company to entrench its position on the market and eliminate competition.

"Google’s new scheme is, in essence, to wall off the entire portion of the internet that consumers access through Google’s Chrome browser," the complaint filed by Texas and 14 other states reads.
