Intel expects EPS of $4 in 2021, higher revenue

Intel said on Tuesday the company sees earnings per share (EPS) for 2021 to amount to $4 with an expected full-year revenue of $76.5 billion. The company's full-year revenue in 2020 was $75.3 billion. According to the company's outlook, non-GAAP revenue and EPS are also expected to rise driven by strong demand for its notebooks this year.

"2021 is a transitional year as we accelerate Intel’s trajectory, invest in our future and improve our execution," Intel CEO said Pat Gelsinger said. Gelsinger added that the "incredible demand for computing" and the company's investments, he expects "Intel’s best days are in front of us."

Shares of Intel jumped 5.15% to $66.75 in after-hours trading.
