Squarespace website building company filed to go public on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "SQSP" on Friday.

The company will be using a direct listing process (DLP) to go public, which means it will sell existing shares on the public market to let earlier investors and employees gain liquidity, a move increasingly popular among tech companies.

Squarespace raised $300 million last month in funding. It also reported a revenue of $621.1 million in 2020, marking a 28% increase, compared to the year before.
