Wall Street extended gains in the premarket trade on Tuesday, pointing towards the green opening of the session later today. With the still-expanding coronavirus outbreak in the United States and the missing stimulus, stock markets closed deep in the negative territory yesterday.

Meanwhile, the earnings season continued as companies such as Caterpillar, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, 3M, Merck, Raytheon and Harley-Davidson posted their third-quarter financial results.

The Dow Jones gained 0.28% at 8:20 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 concurrently advanced 0.58%. A minute later, the S&P 500 increased by 0.46%. The euro traded 0.18% against the dollar to sell for $1.18311.
