US up premarket after China relaxes COVID rules

Stock market indexes in the United States were in the green on Tuesday after China cut coronavirus quarantine requirements for international travelers from 21 days in total to 10. Elsewhere, global attention this week is focused on G7 and NATO summits.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average index gained 0.46% or 144 points, the Nasdaq 100 was 0.36% higher and the S&P 500 increased by 0.39% at 4:15 am ET.

The euro was flat compared to the US dollar, changing hands for 1.05799 a minute later.
