E.ON SE announced on Wednesday that its sales reached €28.7 billion in the third quarter of fiscal 2022 after soaring 91% from the same period the year before.

Income from continuing operations and net income both rose by 54% year over year to €1.7 billion in the third trimester. Earnings per share from continuing operations increased by 28% to €0.60.

"E.ON reaffirms its earnings outlook for fiscal year 2022, given the nine-month performance was as projected. E.ON continues to expect an adjusted EBITDA of €7.6 to €7.8 billion and an adjusted net income of €2.3 to €2.5 billion," the company revealed in a statement.
