US mostly muted premarket with Biden's Europe trip in focus

Equities on Wall Street traded mostly flat in the premarket session on Monday, as investors looked at the news stemming from Europe amidst United States President Joe Biden's first trip overseas. Over the weekend, the G7 agreed to launch a global infrastructure initiative, as Biden pushed to revitalize multilateral ties.

Additionally, Biden is set to attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit in Brussels today, while the long-awaited meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will be on Wednesday. Meanwhile, traders will also be looking at how the Federal Open Market Committee meeting later in the week will shape markets.

The Dow Jones and the S&P 500 stood flat at 4:35 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 increased 0.18% a minute later. The euro was also muted against the dollar selling for $1.21086 at 4:37 am ET.
