Report: Pfizer's COVID jab expects Nov. approval for kids

Tuesday, 28. September 2021 21:38

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) may not approve the coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE for young kids before November, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.

The companies submitted data from a study on jab's effectiveness among children between 5 and 11 years old earlier today, although a full application may not be finished by mid-October, the news organization said.

Currently, no COVID-19 vaccines have been approved for kids of that age.
