T-Mobile Q3 revenue up 2% YoY to reach $19.6B

T-Mobile communications company published its financial results for the third fiscal quarter of 2021 on Tuesday, reporting a 2% year-over-year increase in revenue to reach $19.6 billion. Meanwhile, the company's net income decreased compared to the same time period in 2020 to land at $691 million, due to merger-related costs of $707 million.

T-Mobile's earnings per share (EPS) decreased to $0.55, compared to the $1 reported at the same time in 2020. Meanwhile, the company also added 1.3 million clients in the third quarter of 2021 bringing the total customer count to a record-high of 106.9 million.

"We are well-positioned for the future - and poised to continue winning with assets and a formula for growth that is differentiated from the other wireless players. We just keep exceeding our own targets on growth, profit and synergies, and we have no plans to slow down now," CEO of T-Mobile Mike Sievert said.
