Major European stock markets closed Tuesday's session with gains despite inflation concerns. ECB chief economist Philip Lane said earlier that the eurozone's inflation rate could return to 2% as soon as next year; however, the news did not influence market performance.

The DAX rose 1.10%, while Delivery Hero increased its gain by 4.95%. The FTSE 100 jumped 0.62%, with Scottish Mortgage increasing 5.00%. And The CAC 40 gained 0.95% when Saint Gobain added 3.55%.

The euro climbed 0.32% against the dollar to sell for 1.13620 at 5:32 pm CET, and the pound added 0.30% compared to the greenback to go for 1.36192 at the same time.
