T-Mobile US plans to fire corporate employees who are not fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by April 2 this year, reported various news sources. The company also set this date for bringing its staff back in-person or start hybrid work models.

The U.S. employees who access the offices of the company on regular or occasional bases are expected to get their first dose by February 21 or be put on unpaid leave. Moreover, in-office employees who do not follow comply with the April deadline might face serious consequences and might even be separated from the company. The employees are able to apply for a medical or religious exemption. This vaccination requirement does not apply to field technicians and most in-store retail workers

Earlier this month, the Supreme Court temporarily halted the Biden Administration’s workplace Covid-19 vaccination requirements for large employers.
