T-Mobile's Q4 revenue jumps 2.2% to hit $20.8B

T-Mobile communications company published its financial results for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2021 on Wednesday, reporting a 2.2% year-over-year increase in revenue to reach $20.8 billion. Meanwhile, the company's net income decreased compared to the same time period in 2020 to land at $422 million, marking a 43.7% fall from the last three months of the year before.

T-Mobile's earnings per share (EPS) decreased to $0.34, recording a 43.4% drop compared to the same period in 2020. On an annual level, the company's revenues jumped 17.1% year-over-year to reach $80.1 billion in 2021, while its net income experienced a slight fall, dropping 1.3% to land at $3.02 billion.

“Our industry-leading year-end results – adding 1.2 million postpaid accounts and 5.5 million postpaid customers, extending Ultra Capacity 5G to 210 million people – show that the Un-carrier is experiencing the greatest growth momentum in wireless", said Mike Sievert, T-Mobile CEO.

Following the report, T-Mobile stocks rose by more than 7.5% to sell for $118.81 per share in the after-hours trading.
