SpaceX Crew-5 launched to ISS

Elon Musk's Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched on Wednesday Crew-5, their newest joint manned mission, from the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida, to the International Space Station (ISS).

The vehicle is carrying four crew members – spacecraft commander Nicole Mann and pilot Josh Cassada from NASA, Mission Specialist 1 Koichi Wakata from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and Mission Specialist 2 Anna Kikina from Russia's State Space Corporation Roscosmos.

Crew-5 is SpaceX's eighth overall crewed orbital flight. The mission is planned to last for 145 days.
