Binance is "temporarily suspending" bank transfers involving United States dollars on the cryptocurrency exchange starting from February 8, a company spokesperson told CoinDesk on Monday.

Only 0.01% of monthly active users use dollar bank transfers and they are "being notified directly," the company representative added.

There will be no changes to all remaining transactions, according to Binance.
