US crude inventories rise by 3.8M barrels - report

Crude oil inventories in the United States increased by 3.8 million barrels in the week ending November 20, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly showed on Tuesday. Crude stockpiles in Cushing, Oklahoma, gained 1.4 million barrels during the same seven-day period.

Gasoline stockpiles rose by 1.3 million barrels, while distillate inventories dropped by 1.8 million barrels, the reported data showed.

Brent for January delivery advanced by 4.34% to sell for $47.83 per barrel at 4:36 pm ET and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for settlements in January jumped 4.48% to go for $44.8 per barrel at the same time.
