The prices of cryptocurrencies experienced a decline on Wednesday, with Bitcoin decreasing by 1% and Ethereum by more than 2%.

The fall followed Coinbase Global Inc.'s decision to expand the crypto-assets available on its platform by seven, adding Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dai, Tether, ApeCoin, and Shiba Inu.

Ethereum lost 2.49% at 7:48 am ET to sell for $1,114.1810. Bitcoin dropped by 1.02% at 7:50 am ET to go for $20,047.915, having fallen slightly below $20,000 earlier in the day.
