The Court of Chancery in Delaware granted Elon Musk's request to postpone the start of his trial against Twiter Inc. The social media company objected to the request, stating it would allow the entrepreneur to further delay the deal.

The court ruled that the trial will be stayed until October 28, the date Musk argued the transaction with Twitter will complete. "If the transaction does not close by 5 pm on October 28, 2022, the parties are instructed to contact me by email that evening to obtain November 2022 trial dates," Judge Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick stated.
