Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan claimed on Thursday that Azerbaijan is planning a "mass exodus" of Armenians from the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region through the Lachin corridor. Azerbaijan has blocked the corridor, causing both the United States and Russia to call for its reopening.

"According to the information we have, Baku's plan is as follows: bring the economic, psychological pressure to a certain climax, then open the corridor for several days, waiting for a mass exodus of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, and then close and open again for several days. And so until the last Armenian leaves Nagorno-Karabakh," Pashinyan said.
