Disney, Nestle and Epic Games stopped advertising on YouTube after reports of a pedophile network lurking behind comments on the site run by Google, media reported. Apparently, some of the videos that pedophiles commented on and used to identify other sexually suggestive videos with children were run next to Disney or Nestle adds.

"All Nestle companies in the US have paused advertising on YouTube," a Nestle spokesperson said, while a spokesperson from Epic said that the company behind Fortnite game "paused all pre-roll advertising" and reached out to YouTube "to determine actions they'll take to eliminate this type of content from their service."

YouTube said in a statement that it took "immediate action by deleting accounts and channels, reporting illegal activity to authorities and disabling violative comments."
