Johnson & Johnson revealed on Thursday it is uncertain whether the American company will be able to supply the ordered 55 million COVID-19 vaccines to the European Union in the second quarter of 2021.

According to Dutch media NOS, Johnson & Johnson blames production problems for probable delays in vaccine deliveries.

Meanwhile, Belgium yesterday decided to suspend the use of Johnson & Johnson's jab for people younger than 41 after a woman's death was linked to the jab's adverse effects.
