White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Tuesday that COVID-19 vaccines developed by Moderna, Pfizer as well as Johnson & Johnson would likely get full approval from the Food and Drugs Administration.

"The data are about as good as it gets... I would be astounded if these vaccines, namely the mRNA and the J&J, didn't get full approval," Fauci told CNBC.

All three vaccines have previously received an emergency use authorization for distribution in the United States, and have been administered to over 184 million Americans to date.
