Downing Street unveiled on Sunday that United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak won't be isolating despite being in contact with Health Secretary Sajid Javid, who tested positive for coronavirus yesterday.

Downing Street said that Johnson and Sunak are taking part in a pilot scheme where they are not going to have to quarantine. Instead, they are going to be tested daily which would allow them to continue working.

However, Number 10 also noted that Johnson and Sunak will only be conducting "essential government business" during this period when they should be isolating.
