United Airlines mandates COVID vaccines for all employees - report

United Airlines has mandated that all of its employees in the United States be vaccinated against the coronavirus, CNBC reported on Friday.

Employees of the airline will need to show proof that they are fully vaccinated five weeks after regulators give full approval for the vaccines or by October 25, whichever comes first. While exceptions will be made for those that cannot get vaccinated for health issues, those that aren't fully vaccinated by the deadline risk being fired from the company.

United is the latest company that is pushing for its employees to be vaccinated, with Google, Microsoft, Tyson Foods, Uber, and Facebook all requiring vaccinations or imposing stricter testing measures in order for workers to get back to the office.
