US administers 384.9M COVID-19 vaccines

The United States administered more than 384.9 million COVID-19 vaccine doses as of Saturday morning, according to data collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC has distributed nearly 467 million vaccine doses developed by Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson since the start of the rollout campaign.

Booster shots have not been approved for wide use in the US, however, people with compromised immune systems were recommended to receive the third dose. Since August 13, more than 2.11 million Americans have received the third Moderna or Pfizer vaccine dose.
