The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans to consider on Thursday whether to set limits on Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine, The Washington Post reported.

The CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices is slated to vote on updating its recommendations for use after a study linked the J&J jab with cases of rare blood clots in people who received the shot.

The single-dose vaccine is currently authorized in the US for individuals aged 18 and up.
