The Chinese government shared on Monday that they will impose sanctions against the United States companies Raytheon Technologies and Lockheed Martin for providing Taiwan with weapons.

"The Chinese government, in accordance with the law on countering foreign sanctions, decided to take countermeasures against the US defense companies Raytheon Technologies and Lockheed Martin, which have long been involved in the supply of US weapons to Chinese Taiwan," stated spokesman Wang Wenbin.

Earlier this month, the United States approved a $100 million deal on the sale of armaments to Taiwan.
