Shares of United States-based companies from the arms industry soared in premarket trade on Monday after Washington and its multiple allies, including the United Kingdom, as well as the European Union and several of its member states all recently announced they will send weapons to Ukraine.

Lockheed Martin Corporation grew 5.46% at 6:15 am ET and Raytheon Technologies Corporation gained 5.39% at 6:17 am ET. Northrop Grumman Corporation advanced 6.57% and General Dynamics Corporation was up 5.48% at 6:04 am ET.
