United Airlines Inc. delayed the return of over 50 Boeing 777 aircraft to its fleet until at least May 13, CNBC reported on Friday, citing information from an alleged note sent to pilots by the company.

Fifty-two Boeing 777 airplanes, powered by Pratt & Whitney engines, that were flying for United have been under investigation by the United States authorities since February 2021 after several incidents.
