JD.com's Q1 revenue jumps 18% YoY to $37.8B

JD.com Inc. revealed on Tuesday that its revenue in the first fiscal quarter of 2022 surged 18% year-over-year, coming in at $37.8 billion.

The e-commerce firm's income from operations rose to $0.4 billion in the first quarter of 2022. The company's net loss amounted to $0.5 billion or $0.30 diluted loss per share in the first trimester of 2022. The annual active customer accounts jumped by 16.2% to 580.5 million on an annual basis.

"JD.com’s robust supply chain capabilities and technology-driven operating efficiency underpinned our solid performance during the quarter as we continued to deliver healthy growth amidst a challenging external environment," company CEO Lei Xu shared.
