Ryanair Holdings plc reported on Monday that its net loss revenue declined from €273 million to €170 million for the three months to the end of June, but remained well below pre-COVID-19 levels. Diluted loss per ordinary share landed at €0.16, falling by 33% for the corresponding time period the year before.

The company's total operating revenues reached €2.6 million, surging by 600% from the same timespan in the prior year. Compared to the same period in 2021, the number of customers soared from 8.1 million to 45.5 million.

"While we remain hopeful that the high rate of vaccinations in Europe will allow the airline and tourism industry to fully recover and finally put Covid behind us, we cannot ignore the risk of new Covid variants in Autumn 2022," the airline said in the press release.
