Thirteen European NATO members, including Germany and the United Kingdom, signed on Thursday a letter of intent for the joint procurement of air defense systems.

The allies agreed to jointly buy air defense systems such as Raytheon's Patriot and Arrow 3, jointly made by the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Boeing.

Other allies that signed the document in Brussels are Slovakia, Norway, Latvia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Belgium, Czechia, Finland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Romania and Slovenia.
