Stock indexes in the United States traded with strong gains on Monday ahead of a busy week for earnings releases. Bank of America is publishing its report before market open, with the likes of Netflix, United Airlines and Goldman Sachs to come on Tuesday.

The Dow Jones surged 0.88% or 262 points at 4:19 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 jumped 1.13%, and the S&P 500 added 0.98% at the same time.

The euro traded 0.26% higher compared to the dollar, selling for 0.97475 at 4:20 am ET.
