GM still evaluating Twitter ad suspension - CEO

The General Motors Company (GM) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mary Barra (pictured) remarked on Tuesday that the company is still evaluating whether it will give up its decision to suspend advertising on Twitter following Elon Musk's acquisition of the platform.

Speaking to CNBC, Barra explained that GM made its decision to gain time to observe how the platform will evolve under Musk but also as another one of his companies, Tesla Inc., is a competitor.

Other enterprises that paused their advertisement on Twitter include Volkswagen Group, Ford Motor Company, Stellantis NV's Jeep, and United Airlines Inc.
