United States President Joe Biden said on Thursday that the US citizens should stop looking at each other as Democrats and Republicans, "but as human beings."

Speaking at the traditional National Prayer Breakfast, the president mentioned various natural disasters, mass shootings, and the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the nation, but reiterated his belief in the importance of American unity. He noted that the Congress "is more diverse than ever before in the US history," branding it a new promise for the country. "No other nation in the world was born out of an idea," Biden concluded.
