Sevilla beat Man Utd, head to Europa League final

Sevilla qualified for UEFA Europa League finals after beating Manchester United 2-1 in a match played in Cologne on Sunday.

Despite taking an early lead with a penalty by Bruno Fernandes, the Red Devils were eliminated one game shy from winning a trophy for the third time this season, as the team already took a defeat in both the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. Before the break former Liverpool right-winger, Suso equalized for the Spanish side with Luuk de Jong finally knocking the British opposition out of the competition in the 76th minute of play. The defeat makes the English-based team the first club ever to lose all three semi-finals in one season.

After Sunday's victory, the La Liga side will fight for this year's title against either Inter Milan or Shakhtar Donetsk on August 21.
