Asian stocks trade lower, Hang Seng down over 1K pts

Major stock market indexes in Asia started the week's trading session lower with investors seemingly worried about the coronavirus outbreak resurging worldwide.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell by 4.19% or 1.040 points at 5:09 am CET. At 5:11 am CET, the Australian S&P 200 lost 2.27%, as the dollar stood 0.07% lower against the yen, going for ¥109.9050.

Markets in Japan, South Korea and in mainland China are closed today for a market holiday.
