Shares of Groupe Renault sank more than 4% on Friday after the company released its fourth-quarter earnings results prior to today's session.

Renault reported a worse-than-expected net loss of €8 billion for 2020 in its report, with its CEO Luca de Meo forecasting a difficult year due to uncertainties surrounding the coronavirus-related supply chain disruptions, as well as overall health situation.

Renault's stocks tumbled 4.55% to €37.99 per share at 11:50 am CET. However, the French carmaker still stands 6% higher compared to the start of the year.
