North Korea blocks all communication with South

Monday, 08. June 2020 23:31

North Korea's officials revealed on Tuesday the country will completely cut communication with South Korea starting from June 9 at 5:00 am CET, according to the Korean Central News Agency. Additionally, Pyongyang will close its liaison line between the two militaries.

The relations between the two countries have been very turbulent last month, as North Korea reportedly fired multiple gunshots towards South's guard post in the Demilitarized Zone.

Shortly after that, Pyongyang authorities called South's military drills a" great provocation that won't be overlooked," adding that they demand a "necessary reaction" from the North.
