Asia-Pacific mixed as Wall Street recovers

Major stock markets in the Asia-Pacific region traded mixed on Friday as markets on Wall Street rebounded following three straight days of losses. Meanwhile, data dominated the news as Japan's consumer prices decreased in April, while the country's manufacturing sector activity declined in May.

The Nikkei 225 traded 0.76% higher at 7:03 am CET, with the S&P/ASX 200 going up 0.14% at the same time. Meanwhile, both the Kospi Composite and the Hang Seng were 0.15% and 0.13% down respectively at 7:04 am CET.

In mainland China, the Shenzen Composite decreased 0.54% at 7:05 am CET, as the Shanghai Composite dropped 0.46% concurrently.

The dollar stood flat against the yen trading for 108.7780 at 7:06 am CET.
