Siemens Q3 revenue up 24% to €16B

Siemens AG unveiled on Thursday that its revenue for the third quarter of its fiscal 2021 increased by 24% when compared to the same period last year to reach €16.1 billion.

At the same time, the company registered a yearly gain in its net income of 177% to €1.5 billion, while its basic earnings per share also saw a big jump, going from €0.67 to €1.68, constituting a per annum gain of 150%. Adjusted EBITA Industrial Businesses rose 29% to €2.3 billion.

Ralf Thomas, Chief Financial Officer of Siemens, commented on the results: "We are continuing the very positive business development of the first half of the year and are once again delivering strong results despite the continuing challenging environment. The strong performance of our focused technology company was demonstrated in the third quarter by double-digit revenue growth, increased profitability, and another strong Free cash flow."
