Europe mostly higher premarket

Stock indexes in Europe were mostly higher in premarket trade on Friday. Markets worldwide will follow the next developments in the Ukraine crisis as well as consumer spending and trade balance reports from the United States to assess the state of the world's largest economy.

The DAX rose by 0.25%, London's FTSE 100 lost 0.19%, while the CAC 40 was up 0.21% at 7:06 am CET.

The euro was 0.27% higher against the dollar at 7:27 am CET, trading at 1.07540. The British pound increased 0.36% compared to the greenback, going for 1.26475 a minute later.
