Credit Suisse appoints new CFO, COO

Credit Suisse Group AG revealed on Monday it will appoint Dixit Joshi as Chief Financial Officer, replacing longtime CFO David Mathers from October 1, while Francesca McDonagh will assume the role of the group's Chief Operating Officer from September 19.

Joshi has three decades of experience and, between 1995 and 2003, held positions at Barclays and Credit Suisse in New York and London. For the past five years, he has also served as group treasurer at Deutsche Bank. In addition, Michael Rongetti has been appointed interim CEO of the Asset Management Division and Francesco De Ferrari will take over as CEO of Europe, Middle East, and Africa region both of which will take effect immediately.

Earlier in July, the company named Ulrich Korner as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Thomas Gottstein. The group's earnings report for the second quarter of the fiscal year noted a drop in the net revenue by 29% on an annual basis to 3.64 billion Swiss francs (~$3.8 billion).
