Apple Inc. is expected to sign an iPhone manufacturing deal with Luxshare Precision Industry Co. Ltd., the Financial Times reported.

People familiar with the matter said the Chinese company has already taken over small orders of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Until recently, Apple's Taiwanese partner Foxconn was the sole producer of the Pro models. However, sources claimed Apple has sought to diversify and compensate for a decrease in output following COVID-19-related disruptions at Foxconn.
