Apple Inc. announced Wednesday the introduction of Apple Business Connect, a free tool for all-sized businesses to customize the information experience across all company apps. After the announcement, at 10:19 am ET, shares of Apple were up by 0.40% to sell for $131.2600.

"Apple Business Connect gives every business owner the tools they need to connect with customers more directly and take more control over the way billions of people see and engage with their products and services every day," said Eddy Cue, Apple's Senior Vice President.

In addition, the new tool will enable businesses to claim location cards of all sizes and customize the way key information is displayed to more than one billion Apple users through Apple Maps, Messages, Wallet, Siri, and other apps.
