An internal review conducted by the Deutsche Bank estimated that the bank handled $150 billion of possibly suspicious flows connected to Danske Bank A/S, Dow Jones reported on Tuesday, citing an unnamed person familiar with the mater.

United States Department of Justice requested information from Danske in early October over the alleged €200 billion money laundering scandal.

Media reported in September that the US authorities were investigating Denmark's biggest lender after a confidential whistleblower filed a report to the Securities and Exchange Commission two years ago.
