FedEx revenue up 10% to $23.6B in Q3

FedEx Corp. said on Thursday its revenue in the third quarter of fiscal 2022 amounted to $23.6B, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period a year ago and topping estimates.

GAAP diluted earnings per share surged 27% year on year to $4.20 and GAAP net income was $1.1 billion. GAAP operating income rallied 32% to $1.33 billion in the three-month period on an annual basis. Adjusted EPS stood at $4.59, missing estimates.

"The continued execution of our strategies drove improved third-quarter results," CEO Frederick W. Smith stated. "I am proud of our team members around the world, who are constantly proving their resilience amidst a rapidly evolving global environment," he added.

FedEx fell 2.22% in after-hours trading after reporting worse-than-expected EPS.
