US higher premarket ahead of data reports

Stock indexes in the United States traded with gains premarket on Tuesday as investors await reports on house prices and consumer confidence. Markets around the world also reacted to ongoing anti-lockdown protests in China and the government's response, including any changes to the country's zero-COVID policy.

The Dow Jones added 0.15% at 4:26 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 was up by 0.53% and the S&P 500 grew by 0.33% a minute later.

The euro traded 0.34% higher against the dollar, going for 1.03718 at 4:27 am ET.
